Organisation of the National Association

The National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Funds is a public-law corporation. It is characterised by a lean organisational structure. Flat hierarchies guarantee that little information is lost and that there is a high degree of transparency, both in flows from the Board to the staff and vice versa.

The many tasks of the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Funds are implemented by nine divisions and four staff offices. The portfolios of the three Board members encompass three divisions each. The four staff offices report directly to the Chairperson of the Board.
